This is the notice outside Bury St Edmunds Tribunal.
Prof Wyn Evans is still being cross-examined, so he cannot talk the case or his evidence
There will be a transcript of what was discussed in open court available shortly.
There are also files to be added to the Bundle, and the bigger Documents need dividing. We will do that as soon as we can

Final push, Wyn!
I think that many members of UCam will agree with me if I thank you for showing what the University is willing to do to cover up misconduct, even in tribunal. Your vivid experience in tribunal should not frighten people who watch you regarding the University’s power but instead unambiguously show that something is fundamentally wrong in our institution and that it needs to be urgently addressed. Thank you for leading the way to a change.
Best of luck today!

Honestly I think the fact alone that this mess went all the way to ET shows our HR is entirely not fit for purpose. That’s probably not an issue for Tribunal to determine (I don’t know) but one for the Regent House so hopefully fair comment here.

Hang in there. End in sight.
Soon it’s your turn to watch the real bullies get grilled.
Enjoy their cross examination as I am sure most of us will.

Good luck today against the university alligator!

Nothing happening. Is that right?

In the hearing cancelled for today?

I would love it if universities had online ratings reviews from students and faculty just like companies have… The Cambridge reviews would make a fascinating read.

This is just to say that I will stop posting in the blog until the proceedings conclude. And, given what was discussed in the Tribunal just a couple of minutes ago, I would urge everyone to do the same.

Leaving my silent message here.

With 20000 visitors to this site obviously lots of people want to comment. When does it become possible again?
Techie · 11 June 2026 at 16:39
The chart is for sessions so for recent page visits the figure is probably more like 100k right?

I am responsible for any comments made by me on this blog – not the 21percent group. The comments are not being made anonymously.
exCam · 11 June 2026 at 14:59
Me too. It’s a shame Wyn can’t see how much support he has right now – but I guess he will once he is allowed to see all the comments that either went through automatically or are I guess logged to appear.

I’m fully responsible for my comments on this blog too.
TheResearcher · 11 June 2026 at 15:33
Not only I’m fully responsible for my comments on this blog, but I am happy to tell this fact directly and in person to the University’s Barrister. Indeed, I am looking forward to have her as University’s Barrister in my own case.

I am fully responsible for my comments too, and I believe they have been fair and reasonable in tone and content.

What’s going on?

This is nothing to do with events at tribunal but I just want to write here that when I was at my lowest point at Cambridge Wyn was the only professor who heard me out and gave me support.
Goodness shines through small acts of voluntary kindness and for me Wyn will always be my forever hero.
