What information we collect and use, and why
We collect or use the following personal information for the purposes of preparing of a submission to the Health and Safety Executive, or other regulator: (i) contact details (eg name, address, telephone number or personal email address) and (ii) information provided by you in your response to our online surveys,
Lawful bases and data protection rights

- Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. You can request other information such as details about where we get personal information from and who we share personal information with. If you make a request, we must respond to you without undue delay and in any event within one month.. To make a data protection rights request, please contact us using the contact details at the top of this privacy notice. Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information as part of the survey is consent. We have permission from you after we gave you all the relevant information. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to object. To be clear, you do have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Where we get personal information from
We collect your information from the following places: (i) directly from you and (ii) via the online platform SurveyMonkey
How long we keep information
The data will only be retained for the purpose of preparing and presenting surveys to the Health and Safety Executive and, in any case, it will not be retained for longer than 5 years
Who we share information with
We use the following data processors for the following reasons: the 21 group and ForThe100. These data processors perform the following activities for us: (i) Analyse results of a survey, (ii) Contact individuals to give generic results of survey, (iii) Contact individuals to invite them to participate in the next stage of the questionnaire
Survey Monkey
We use survey Monkey to collect data. Please see the survey monkey privacy statement for how they will protect your data. Our privacy statement applies to data downloaded from survey monkey and data you provide directly to us.
Health and Safety Executive
After the initial data gathering phase, we will identify suitable cases to include in a class action to the Health and Safety Executive. If we include your information we will contact, you to discuss this before we share information with HSE
How to complain
If you have any concerns about our use of your personal data, you can make a complaint to us using the contact details at the top of this privacy notice. If you remain unhappy with how we’ve used your data after raising a complaint with us, you can also complain to the ICO.
